Science enthusiasts from IB1 attended some of the Lower Silesian Science Festival lectures along with their chemistry / physics teacher, Mr Oleksandr Bednarchuk. Topics of the lectures were varied, for instance nanotechnology in biomedicine, the world of low temperatures, or scientific thinking. The students could also watch physics and chemistry experiments presented by PhD candidates from the Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research. The discussions on various phenomena accompanying the experiments helped students gain a wider understanding of magnetic, physical and chemical effects and comment on them not only at school science classes.
