This year's Day of Kindness and Good Will at EKOLA was a part of KROPLA AZJI (A BIT OF ASIA) project and its major theme was cranes - the symbol of longevity and happiness. All students of EKOLA, along with their teachers, created more than a thousand paper cranes, while getting to know the very emotional story of a little Japanese girl, Sadako Sasaki, one of the many victims of the atomic bomb attack on Hiroshima, whose only wish was to be healthy. At the meeting in the school assembly hall, we could hear lots of different wishes, the most important being that kindness, understanding and the will to enhance human relationships would guide our actions every single day, not only on festive occasions.
